Due to Demand, we offer both an Introductory
& Intermediate Spanish Section per Class
Section 1 - Introductory Spanish 30-Contact Hours
This 30 hour beginner's course is designed to teach beginning
Spanish to Health Care Professionals. The program contains 20
hours of grammar and vocabulary plus 10 hours of practical application
appropriate for beginners, interviewing & speaking with patients
in the local community and in the local clinic. Upon completion
of the course, the participants will have been introduced to the
basic vocabulary & grammar necessary to begin to communicate
with Spanish speaking patients in order to identify their primary
needs and problems.
Section 2 - Intermediate Spanish 30-Contact Hours
This 30 hour intermediate course is designed for participants
who have had Spanish and need to review and improve their vocabulary
and grammar. The program contains 20 hours of grammar and vocabulary
plus 10 hours of practical application appropriate for an intermediate
level, interviewing & speaking with patients in the community
and in the local clinic. Upon completion of the course, the participant
will have completed a review of vocabulary & grammar and will
have been introduced to intermediate level vocabulary and grammar
in order to improve their ability to communicate with Spanish
speaking patients in order to identify their primary needs and
problems.
Instructor, Linda Moller, B.A.,M.A., is a Language
Specialist using techniques which rely on imagination, humor,
music & games to increase learning and retention and to make
learning Spanish FUN! Linda lives in Mexico and
is one of the foremost Instructors of Excelerated Learning Spanish
with clients worldwide.
Pegge Bastress, also an Excelerated Learning Spanish
Language Specialist, has Lived in Yelapa for twenty years. She
is the mother of two bilingual daughters.
